En octubre de 2021, The Action Lab organizó The Frontera Project. El grupo de teatro guió a los becarios de Take a Breath y al personal del Action Lab en ejercicios teatrales y actividades rompehielos por la tarde, culminando en una presentación de su obra, The Frontera Project (El Proyecto Frontera). The Frontera Project es una obra de teatro bilingüe original creada por artistas de los Estados Unidos y Tijuana, México, que explora historias pasadas por alto sobre la Frontera.
