Citizen Action of New York brought together parents, child care providers, and community leaders in Utica on February 27 to call on state lawmakers to invest directly in New York’s child care workforce. Rallying outside the local State Office Building, the group called on state leaders to ensure that the advancement of universal childcare does not come at the expense of childcare providers. We hope this inspires others to show up in solidarity with childcare providers to continue advancing justice and equity.
