Last week, we hosted our biggest event of the summer so far. At City Winery, we officially welcomed Common as our 2025 Belafonte Fellow!

The acclaimed rapper and actor put on a barnstorming performance that had the audience on their feet. His performance was preceded by an equally electric performance from our outgoing Belafonte Fellow, Ana Tijoux. The master of ceremonies for the evening was our advisory board member Lemon Andersen, who interspersed his introductions with powerful spoken word performances. All in all, it was a remarkable evening with great performances and great company of friends, anchor partners, and supporters. We have shared some fantastic photos and videos from the evening below as well content about the Belafonte Fellowship. Take a look and catch up on all the action!
