To honor the pioneering film and television director, producer, and writer, Cheryl Dunye, the New School is hosting two exciting upcoming events organized by our advisory board member Melissa Friedling. First, a Spotlight Q&A with Cheryl Dunye, 2026 Hirshon Artist-in-Residence, on March 10, and then a 30th Anniversary screening of The Watermelon Woman, on March 11. Both events are free and open to the public. We hope to see many of you there!
