Since our start, The Action Lab has been involved in supporting organizations doing critical work building power among tenants, fighting eviction, and imagining a world of new housing possibilities. We were very glad to see some of that work, and our delegation to study Vienna’s social housing programs, highlighted in The New York Times Magazine this past Sunday.

Last fall, with the Housing Justice for All Coalition, we organized a delegation of housing organizers, tenants, academics, and policy makers to learn from the successful social housing model in Vienna. We were joined for a time by Francesca Mari who has been doing an excellent job covering housing work, and who wrote the Times article. Definitely check it out!
