In Fall 2024, Dennis Leroy Kangalee joined The Action Lab as an Artists in Action fellow! On December 12th Dennis hosted Dying City: A Rogue Revue for Radicals at our retreat center in Ossining. The play in progress is about the final radio talk-show broadcast by an outlaw DJ and the activists, organizers, and disgruntled romantics who call in to the “Social Justice Suicide Hour.” It was a lively reading which activated attendees to think with movement lineages and the interplay of art and politics.
