Daylong Political Education Training + Strategy School Launch

On April 10 we hosted the first in our cycle of Political Education Trainings at the Foundation for Community Psychoanalysis. This full-day session was a fantastic opportunity to welcome new participants and collaborators into our political education programs. The agenda covered the purposes of political education, some provisional assessments of our current political moment, and opportunities for participants to define key terms like “contradictions” and “dialectics.” Through political education, we aim to deepen the political analysis of community organizers and equip them with the requisite tools to effectively create strategies and tactics to evolve their organizations and transform their communities.
This session also doubled as the spring launch of our first cohort of Strategy School this year. This program trains organizers in base-building organizations working at the crux of strategy development and execution. We were excited to provide an opportunity for Strategy School participants to cross-pollinate with the wider public and help contextualize the uses of political education.
Below you can find details about our next political education session (4/24)! We hope to see many of you there.
