On October 27, The Action Lab, in collaboration with our anchor partner Popular Democracy, helped lay down some great beats and raise consciousness with Hip Hop 4 Peace Los Angeles. Co-hosted by legendary artists Medusa and Hamzah Saadah, this powerful concert in support of global peacemaking efforts featured amazing live performances by poet Saul Williams, singer and ukulele player Desiree Dawson, and rapper and activist Immortal Technique.
