Solidarity Organizing Initiative

The Solidarity Organizing Initiative (SOI) it is a national collaboration co-created by The Action Lab with Make the Road States, CASA, United We Dream Action, and dozens of national and state-based partner organizations. Launched in 2025, the SOI responds to rising authoritarianism and attacks on immigrants by engaging, training and activating tens of thousands of new people to defend democracy and stand in solidarity with our shared values and our neighbors. Rooted in the leadership of powerful immigrant rights organizations, the initiative is building a resilient civic infrastructure for organizing and sustained action across class, immigration status, and geography. 

Through large-scale outreach, mass-based training, deep leadership development and organizing support, it strengthens solidarity and collective power—exemplifying The Action Lab’s model of innovation: partnering with rooted movements to design and implement new organizing strategies that build power meet the urgency of this moment.
