The Center for Anti-Violence Education and The Action Lab present a storytelling workshop for immigrants in New York City, led by facilitators from The Moth. Participants will develop personal stories, practice narrative and performance skills, and build confidence speaking before an audience.
Workshop: Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 4–7 p.m. ET.
The current application lists an optional public storytelling fundraiser for late November or early December. Its final date, time and location have not been announced.
Stories can be about any part of participants’ lives; they do not have to focus on immigration. Applicants do not need to arrive with a story in mind.
