About this event

New York City is on the precipice of an election that opens up new possibilities for community organizations to work with an Administration towards building a more transformative framework for democracy. But when the current electoral system sets the stage for neoliberal "consensus," how do communities reshape political institutions and shift power from corporations to the people? Join us to learn from the experiences of experts who have done this work -- at the national level in Grenada, in Jackson, Mississippi, and in Budapest, Hungary.
