The Action Lab is proud to partner with BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! for a special evening honoring the social justice legacy of Harry Belafonte.
Join us at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park for a free public performance featuring Common. Special guests include acclaimed playwright, poet, and actor Lemon Andersen as the evening's MC, with electrifying performances from genre-defying soul artist Adi Oasis and internationally celebrated Chilean rapper and activist Ana Tijoux.
The evening celebrates Common’s role as The Action Lab’s 2025 Belafonte Fellow, recognizing artists who carry forward Belafonte’s commitment to justice, culture, and collective liberation through performance, storytelling, and community engagement.
