Small Business United is a coalition of small business owners and advocates organizing for policies that stabilize commercial rents and prevent displacement, including the Small Business Rent Stabilization Act.
The campaign launch will take place on Friday, April 10 at 11:30 AM at Jimmy’s Corner (140 W 44 St), a historic Midtown bar currently facing eviction. The event will bring together small business owners, organizers, and community members to introduce the campaign, outline its policy goals, and build a coordinated effort to protect neighborhood businesses.
By hosting the launch at an active eviction site, the event will ground the campaign in a real example of the broader pressures affecting small businesses across New York City.
