Hip Hop Summer Camp

Honoring the history of hip hop and its five major elements, two weeks of programming connected tradition with hands-on music-making and mentorship. We held all workshops and other programs at BronxArtSpace. The program kicked off with a graffiti workshop from KAYLOVEBX and was followed by breakdancing classes led by BBOY POLLO, an MC Workshop led by our Advisory Board member Kemba, DJ Workshops led by Grand Wizzard Theodore, and much more. It was an exhilarating testament to the ongoing power of hip hop.
