About this event

Rain can't stop us (forever). After bad weather pushed back our first date, we've rescheduled the unveiling of the new mural that spans all three stories of The Action Lab’s new home at Sixth Street Community Center. Painted by Chilean-born artist and Action Lab Advisory Board member Dasic Fernández, Raíces y Resiliencia honors a neighborhood whose gardens, mutual aid networks, and fight for its own future have always been climate resilience in action.

Meet the artist, hear the story behind the mural, and enjoy live music, snacks, and refreshments. It's free and open to all, so bring the whole fam!
